WordPress Developer

We are seeking a talented WordPress developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites that meet our clients’ needs. You will work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to build custom WordPress themes and plugins and optimize website performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of website development and be able to translate design concepts into functional websites that meet client requirements.

Your responsibilities :

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Optimize website performance and ensure that the website is responsive and user-friendly
Troubleshoot technical problems and resolve issues with the WordPress website
Manage and update WordPress installations, including core updates and plugin updates
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Good knowledge of the Vue.js framework and related components such as Vuex and Vue Router
Experience with standard tools and services in JavaScript front-end development and software development, such as Git, Gulp.js and npm
Familiarity with WordPress REST API and authorization concepts such as JWT is considered as a plus
The ability to work as part of a team, taking ownership of individual components and following coding guidelines to create performant components that fit into more-comprehensive projects
An understanding of advanced JavaScript concepts, such as dealing with asynchronous requests and dynamic content
